30 Days of Abiding: A Month of Growing Your Relationship With God

​How would your life change if you created just a small bit of space to encounter God every single day? What would be different about you, your soul, your relationships, your work?

If you want to grow spiritually and develop a deeper relationship with God, join 30 Days of Abiding.

"He abides in me, and I in him abide him." has been one of my life verses. It's even tattooed in the form of a tree on my wrist. I am compelled by the vision and invitation to abide. Jesus tells us that true fruitfulness in our lives is birthed out of being in intimate relationship with him. Yet I struggle to do that. I often find myself distracted or deviating from my home in Christ, trying to do life on my own meager resources.

With the hope of learning to abide, I am committing to 30 Days of Abiding for the month of July, starting on July 1, 2016.

For 30 days, I'll be doing the Examen prayer. It is a simple guided prayer of listening and reflection that has really spoken to my soul whenever I've done it. So imagine if I did it for a whole 30 days in a row. Baby steps, right? 30 days, in my mind, is long enough to stretch me, but also a doable length of time.

Here's the extra fun part...I'm extending the invitation to you!
