I was born on O'ahu and grew up in upcountry Kula, Maui. My ancestors came to Hawai'i from China, and my parents are from O'ahu and Maui. I now live in Kapolei, O'ahu with my husband Steve and our four kids, plus a friendly Labrador named Pono.
ART
I love the power of art to make meaning, shape culture, tell stories, and transform. Currently, I work primarily with watercolors. You can see some of my artwork in my gallery and shop. Sometimes I host watercolor workshops and classes, and you can see upcoming events here.
Art has been a journey in a variety of different places, including performing arts, writing, and visual art. I received a BA in Theatre and minor in Cinema-Television at the University of Southern California, have written for online publications including The Huffington Post, and currently take art classes at the Honolulu Museum of Art.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
I am a spiritual director, facilitating group retreats and workshops and learning experiences, as well as offering one-on-one spiritual direction.
My 20+ years of experience in soul care includes one-on-one discipleship, spiritual direction, spiritual formation coaching, Enneagram wisdom, decolonizing spirituality, and facilitating group learning experiences. In addition to my work as a Spiritual Director, I'm part of a vibrant group of people who are co-creating transformative expressions of faith and community. This includes work with non-profit organizations, businesses, land stewardship, learning communities working toward restorative justice, and faith gatherings in homes and neighborhoods. OTHER THINGS
Inoanaiwi - my passion for restorative justice led me to working with Inoanaiwi, a community-based initiative making homeownership a possibility for Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians).
Replenish - group spiritual formation, coaching, training, and community for women, created with my friends and fellow collaborators, Gem Fadling and Brenda Renderos.
Dawn App - I am a contributor to the audio practices on the Dawn App, a mobile app that provides tools to breathe, meditate, and connect with Creator.
