Eruption - Art Print

While supplies last, you can order a print with hand-embellishments. Gold embellished prints are made to order, which means that your print is made specially for you, with every print having its own unique character. Hand-embellished prints better resemble the original painting, which has gold specks.
Embellishments are made with beautiful gold mica paint sourced from Beam Paints, an indigenous paint company from M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron, Ontario, Canada.
THE STORY OF THE PAINTING
The dynamic power and energy of the erupting volcano is unmatched. She is both destructive and creative in nature, and her presence is revered in Hawai'i.
The creation of this painting was a birthing - it welled from my inner being, along with a complex flow of emotions. Painting this eruption allowed me to process hope and grief. As the water and paint danced on the paper, it was as if the volcano herself was a reminder that we are not alone in our uncontrollable passions. This painting is in honor of the divine feminine force that is beautiful, powerful, and sacred.

- 5x7 prints are available with the option of matting, either in a black or white mat. Matted prints are ready to fit in any 8" x 10" frame.
- Frames are not included.
